In ‘The Gift In Your Story’ a collaborative inspirational book, Kristin delves into her experience of raising four young children in her twenties, and the fallout of a failed marriage that led Kristin to relocate her life to Japan. We continue along our road to the release of the first Epic Exchanges collaborative book, The Gift In Your Story, with another one of the contributing authors. This week we discuss exploring different ways to share our stories – in particular, through song with special guest, Kristin Ormiston
Released in 2018 love for her students at New World International School in West Tokyo inspired Kristin’s Children’s Album ‘Way Down’.
“To write an album about romantic love in my fifties seems like odd timing, but I have never conducted my life according to the normal schedule. ”
“Kristin takes personal moments and makes them universal by distilling story & big feelings down into an economy of words, married to melody, that draw us closer together”
- Paul Zacharias of Wheelhouse Sound.
